Our Family
My husband and I are both licensed teachers in multiple states. We have 4 amazing boys and 2 life changing grandbabies. Interests and talents within our family include hunting, fishing, baseball, football, photography, videography and making unforgettable family memories. The memory of living through the traumatic experience of a house fire as a child and hearing the stories of friends in the Lahaina community have led us to this new endeavor.
We’re a family owned and operated business that strives to protect hard working people and their personal belongings from life’s unfortunate times. Items within our homes not only hold a financial value, but a sentimental one as well. Losing those items, or having them damaged, can create a very stressful and exhausting situation for homeowners. Our family knows from first-hand experience. At the age of 10 I remember sitting down with my mother and working on a home inventory list after a fire ripped through our family home during a remodel. Trying to recall damaged and lost items from memory was a very daunting and challenging task, especially at such a difficult time. The struggle I witnessed my parents go through with the insurance company was something I’ll never forget. Instead of moving on and rebuilding in the timeframe we wanted, my parents had to deal with the constant back and forth of proving the condition and value of items to ensure acceptable assistance was being issued through the insurance company. Obviously, being able to prove the condition of items can have a drastic effect on a claim. Having to do this made an already horrible situation last even longer and hindered our family’s ability to move on. We want to use the lessons we’ve learned along the way to help others prepare for possible disasters. Before moving to Colorado, we lived in Hawaii and had numerous friends that were affected by the wildfires on Maui. We have not only witnessed their challenges with moving on after such a devastating event, but we’ve watched them struggle to recall all the valuable belongings that they once had. We want people to rest easy knowing that by using our service, their personal belongings will be able to be replaced accurately and efficiently if anything bad were to happen.
Our LLC is licensed and insured in Colorado and Hawaii. We hope to expand into other states as we build our clientele. We can provide many references and being that we are licensed teachers, you can be rest assured we’ve passed background checks. Having a stranger come through your home and expose your most valuable possessions is not something any cautious person would want to do, so we will do all we can to reassure you that we’re the right people for this job.
